I often talk with S about how best to influence our cousins, niece, and nephew. It's daunting when you know you can only be such a small part of a child's life. Still, even the smallest look into something outside of a child's own family life is informative, and can be enriching. Don't sell yourself short with only a summer with FM. The kids in our lives barely get 10-15 days a year.
