Job Search
Mr. Tldz is looking, since it doesn’t seem like the issues he’s been having with his boss will get any better, despite his attempts to address them. A couple of weeks ago, he found out about a position that seemed like a really good lead (working with a former co-worker) and he applied for it. Then nothing happened. Nothing. Nothing. But I just heard from Mr. Tldz that he has an interview scheduled for Friday morning. Hooray!

Cool! We will cross our fingers for fantastic news. Is the location better of the potential job? Or still in No Man Lands, takes forever, to get to place?

Actually, just up the road from the current place. So still a long commute, but if we can move it will be somewhat better. And the neat thing about this job (he got a lot of info on the position shortly after applying since it’s working for a former co-worker, even though it took forever for the big corporate wheels to grind and get to the interview) is that it will be rotating monthly through first, second, and third shift. When he’s on second or third shift, he’s *required* to work from home, and on first shift he could work from home some. So it’d give us a lot more family time. Here’s hoping they make him an offer…
