Brunch in the pumpkin patch

Well, sort of.  We had leftover pumpkin soup on the menu for lunch today, and we planned to make RW’s pumpkin pancakes with some of the extra canned pumpkin.  So we had them together as pumpkin brunch.  The pancakes were quite yummy, though my flipping technique needs some work.

Meanwhile, Agent Murphy has gotten up from his morning nap all grumpy.  Hopefully he’ll do better with his afternoon nap because we’re going out for pizza tonight.

    I did *not* include a flipping technique with the pancake recipe. I guess I’ll have to revise.

    Oh no, no need to include flipping technique instructions. The flipping was standard flipping. We are oddly defficient in this regard. Neither of us have flipped pancakes much. The closest I’ve come is quesa dillas in the small non-stick skillet, and we typically have Mrs. Tldz-made pancakes at most every couple months, at least on our current weekend schedule. With practice, we’ll get better at it.
